For over a decade Pat Barton has worked year round in his basement wet carving stone. He works in a small comfortable controlled environment (about 4x5 foot) constructed to eliminate the dust and contain the water. This workshop is an introduction to what he has done done to arrange my space, set it up for working wet, and modify or enhance tools to work wet and eliminate dust. He will demonstrate and provide advice and plans on the controlled application of water to the abrasive blades and wheels to both control dust and prolong the life of the abrasive tool.
